Opportunity Nation is a campaign to promote opportunity, social mobility, and access to the American Dream. They’ve built a broad coalition of nearly 200 businesses, non-profits, educational institutions, and military organizations to help create a shared, bipartisan plan to create better skills, better jobs, and better communities. They believe that the zip code you’re born into shouldn’t determine your destiny, and when social mobility grinds to a halt, we are in grave danger of losing the best of America. They’re launching a national conversation about opportunity in America, and promoting a set of public and private sector ideas to increase it.

Opportunity Nation seeks to put the American Dream back in reach by harnessing the best ideas from a national coalition of diverse organizations from many sectors. Together, they are working to break the gridlock and define a shared and realistic plan for how to achieve better skills, better jobs, and better communities.
We need to COLLABORATE
Using data, we need to identify what’s working, and what isn’t. They’re creating a national dialogue on opportunity. With the goal of increasing opportunity for more Americans, they believe we can find shared ideas that everyone can agree upon.
We need to ACT
We’re going to need to change the way we think about economic mobility and opportunities. In addition to changing our national dialogue, they want to change policy as well. For this, they need your help.
