For the past couple of days, I've been in Detroit working with a fantastic group of colleagues from a variety of organizations providing mentoring services to young people. Mentor Michigan convened the conference which focused on sustainability.
I had the opportunity to keynote the meeting and offered two workshops on board development and individual donor-based fundraising. The keynote, “Changing the Game: Sustainability Demands Passion,” focuses on my favorite strategies for building long-term commitments to the mission-critical work of our social profit organizations.
The entire experience was wonderful and the evaluations suggested that the experience was both timely and very well-received:
“Hi Craig, I wanted to send you an email to thank you so much for being a trainer at the Sustainability Training last week. You were absolutely wonderful. And as you will see in the attached Evaluations, our participants felt the same way. Thanks Again.”
